The Amdec Group today announced the opening of the 5-star Johannesburg Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch, and Marriott Executive Apartments Melrose Arch. The openings mark the first purpose-built Marriott Hotel in South Africa, the debut of Marriott Executive Apartments in the country and the fifth collaboration between the Amdec Group and Marriott International.

The Yacht Club in Cape Town is home to Africa’s first AC Hotel by Marriott, while Harbour Arch, currently under construction in Cape Town, will house a second 5-star Marriott Hotel, along with a Residence Inn.
